LilyMaps
LilyMaps is a minimal, standalone, offline-only, sport-focused smartwatch maps app.
It focuses on clarity, low power usage, and optimized performance.
You can try "LilyMaps Berlin" app to see how it behaves in real use.
Map data is mainly based on OpenStreetMap. A big thanks to its contributors and Geofabrik team.
Download regions in advance and use them without a network connection.
Record your routes and review them later with a simple summary and snapshot. Routes can also be overlaid on the map.
Import GPX files and display them directly on the map.
Recorded or imported routes can be replayed visually for review.
Supports both Metric and Imperial units.
Multiple styles are available, each optimized for readability.
Rendering can be adjusted to balance smoothness and power usage.
Important points such as water, medical services, and shelters are included and can be configured.
Examples include defibrillators, hospitals, pharmacies, water points, toilets, shelters, and other locations.
Cycleways can be displayed on top of the map for better route awareness.
Contour lines are available as an overlay to show terrain and elevation.
Contours can be rendered as simple lines or as shaded lines for better terrain perception.
LilyMaps does not track users or collect personal data. The app connects to the internet only to download map data or download GPX files when requested.
GPS location is processed entirely on the device and is never sent to a server. No background communication or server-side tracking is performed.
- No live traffic or online services — fully-offline.
- No detailed building rendering — sports-maps.
- Not designed for car navigation.
- Not trying to replace Apple/Google maps.
We have made significant efforts to ensure that the map data is accurate and that the application is reliable and well-optimized. However, we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or uninterrupted functionality of the app, especially as it is currently in an early release version (v0.0).
Users are strongly advised to always have alternative navigation or mapping methods available, particularly when traveling in unfamiliar or remote areas.
Berlin Demo offers a free version with Berlin city preloaded. It Includes all features except downloading additional maps.
